Today I am going to show you an incredible website for those who love books. If you are an addicted reader just like me and Mariana, Book Depository will be useful for you.
Book Depository is a UK-based online book seller founded in 2004. It was created by a former Amazon employee. On the website, you will be able to find different genres of books, children’s books organised by age range, the bestsellers and the highlights of the month. Moreover, you can pre-order books that will soon become available.
Here are some of the advantages of this website:

- Free delivery to over 160 countries. That is why it is considered the world’s most international online bookstore.
- Books at good prices
- Good discounts
- You can choose what currency you will use to pay. At the moment there are 26 currencies available. The website accepts different credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, VISA Debit, VISA Delta, Maestro, Electron. You can also pay via PayPal.
Disadvantage:
- The majority of the books are in English which can be upsetting for those who do not speak/understand English.
My experience with Book Depository:
I know that there are a lot of people who do not like to buy things online because they do not know if the website is trustworthy. To be honest, I was also a little bit concerned in the beginning but I decided to give it a try. There is a saying that says “You’ll never know if you never try”. Therefore, I bought a couple of books that my sister needed for her GCSE exams on that website. The delivery process was very efficient. Once you buy the books, you will receive an email with your order number. The order number will allow you to view the status of your order. My order was dispatched quickly. If I am not wrong, it took 3-5 days to receive what I purchased but I also live in the UK and book depository is from UK so it's not completely surprising that it came quickly.
